The underlisted personalities are some of the outstanding Associates of JKS & Associates Ltd. Their careers cover a wide range of professions and have made considerable contributions to the development of Nigeria in particular, and Africa as a whole. They will bring to bear on the work JKS will be doing, their experience, skills and commitment.

Ambassador Segun Apata

Ambassador Segun Apata has a wealth of experience in the public and private sectors across Africa. His overarching and abiding interests in fostering African development, promoting business friendly environment in Africa, building sustainable democratic institutions and improving Africa's position in the global landscape have led him to pursue a number of roles within the private and public sectors across the continent.

He is the Chairman of the Coca-Cola Bottler in Nigeria, Nigerian Bottling Company Plc (NBC), the largest beverage manufacturer in Nigeria. Ambassador Apata is a member of the Council of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria. He also serves on the Board of a number of charitable foundations, including The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation and the Senior Citizens Care Foundation of Nigeria.

He is a member of the High Level Panel on Illicit Financial Flows from Africa chaired by President Thabo Mbeki. He previously chaired the Steering Committee of the Expert Group that led to the formal launching of Africa Forum of former African Heads of State and Government. Between 2006 and 2007, he was a Consultant to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa on Communications and Advocacy for NEPAD, as well as, the World Bank financed HIV / AIDS Treatment Acceleration Program in Burkina Faso, Ghana and Mozambique. He previously served as a Consultant to the UNDP and UN Office of the Special Adviser on Africa on Technical Cooperation among Developing Countries and TICAD.

Ambassador Apata served for over three decades in the Nigerian Diplomatic Service. His last major diplomatic assignment was as Nigeria's Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York from 1999 to 2003. He was Nigeria's Ambassador to the Republic of Zaire (DRC) from 1987 to 1991, and represented Nigeria at various times between 1973 and 1981 in some of its diplomatic missions abroad including Ireland, Germany, Guinea Bissau, United Kingdom, Kenya and Greece
